Due to excessive over-the-roof exam stress and also jealousy over Dean’s past-exam glowing face, Stella and I decided we needed a break.
So we took our trembling credit cards all the way to Oxford.
Off to Bicester Village! Which is basically an outlet shopping place, consisting of just one long street of all kinds of shops.
The drive there took about 1 and a half hours from London, but it was so fun because we played the license plate game, laughed about everything and sang songs, until we had to pee so badly.
As soon as we got there, the feeling of going to the toilet disappeared. Shops trump Mother Nature, any day! Our pupils dilated, and we zoomed into our favourite shops.
Some of shops that are worthy of your footsteps:
7 For All Mankind
It was so much fun! And the discounts were fantastic! E.g. A Matthew Williamson top from 500 to 200 pounds! 7 For All Mankind jeans from 150 to 80!
We bought a lot of stuff, and surprisingly the person who shopped the most was Dean!
It was so nice shopping on a weekday so we didn’t have to fight for clothes. Most of the small sizes were out of stock, but there was plenty of other things to look at.
There are only 2 restaurants there; Carluccio’s and Villandry, so the food choice is pretty limited. But who goes there to eat anyway?!
We had a great time shopping, and we’ll definitely be back after the exams!
