I’m sure you all know Spain is famous for its paella and tapas. My god, was it yummy! I’ve never had paella in my life, so I’m glad I had my first taste the authentic way. All the food we ordered were so fattening; deep fried, cheesy, chocolatey, it was cholesterol heaven!

Dean fell in love with the Spanish churros. We could only find them around La Rambla though, and really had to search and ask waiters if they had it. We had them several times a day, and you can imagine the oil and fat in my body now. It’s soooo good though.\’a0

There’s a big market on the La Rambla street, which had all sorts of fresh seafood, fresh meat and fresh fruits. It’s a bit smelly and dodgy, so don’t wear anything too nice.\’a0

Ron told us about a restaurant in the market called the Pinotxo bar. It’s even at the top of the list in the travel guide book. This bar has been here for 60 years already.\’a0

L1050809It was tiny! Could probably seat about 15 people max. There were always queues to sit, and people kept coming back the next day, just like us. When we sat down, I asked for the menu. The waiter said, “No menu. Let’s talk! What do you want to eat, I make for you.”

So we asked for clams, shrimps, lobster, fish, all sorts of seafood. And it was SUPERRR yummy because it was fresh and very tasty. The waiters were so friendly and kept chatting to us while cooking.\’a0

I’ve never eaten this much in my life. The whole trip I was feeling bloated but at the same time, cannot wait for the next meal! I’ve probably gained twenty pounds in the 4 days and now that I’m back in London, I’m starting Detox Day 1.\’a0
