cakes galore

This year I had 4 birthday cakes!

cake1

This was the cake at my family dinner. Chocolate coffee sponge cake from Hilton KL Sentral. It was yummmm….

My dad actually dragged me down to choose it Haha. He told the guy to write Happy Birthday on it, right in front of me hahahah. Thank God he didn’t say write Happy Birthday Vivy. I would’ve been so embarrassed, I’d probably say “Yeah, I’m sure Vivy would love it when she sees it!” to cover up.

This was the cake my colleagues and I got sugar-high on. Cotton candy ice-cream cake from Baskin Robbins. I had 3 slices! And was extremely giddy after that.

This was my birthday present from Asma’ and Huda. It’s soooo pretty and soooo me!!! I even had a bag to match it! And what touched me the most was the fact that they MADE IT THEMSELVES!!! Thank you so much, you two!!

Asma’ gave it to me and was like “Oh so sorry, we didn’t have enough time, so this was all we could come up with.”

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!!!

It would take me 3 days and 3 nights to make this sort of cake. We all joked that they probably made the cake in their sleep. And it probably only took them 15 minutes since they’re such pros. The bag wasn’t real, obviously, but the perfume bottle was. Thank youuuuu!

They’re known for their handmade cupcakes and cakes, and they even take orders from people. So if you’re interested, click here.

And this last cake wass a super duper whooper nice surprise from my sister! It’s sooo cute!!!!! The colours, the design; everything was so cheerful that I can’t help but smile everytime I look at it.

It had a huge duck on top of blue frosting with waves, which made it look like the duck was swimming. It’s perfect!! The duck looked a bit pissed off though…and had overly Botox-ed lips. But that made laugh so much.

And it had 3 of my favourite things; ducks, handbags and daisies.

It made my day! I really love it. Thanks Along, you’re awesome!!!

The last 2 cakes are still sitting pretty in my kitchen. I don’t have the heart to cut them because they’re so nicely made! And no one can taste them until I cut a slice! And God knows when that will be! Haha.

Everyone’s giving me counselling sessions to convince me to cut the cakes, but I so sayang themmmm! After many hours of “It’ll go bad soon” and a whole album of photographs of just the cakes, I…still don’t want to cut them! Haha. Fine, I’ll probably cut them tomorrow with a heavy heart. We’ll see.

So, there you go; 4 birthday cakes, 3 birthday songs, 2 cakes cut and 1 big old happy me!
