This year, my dad had 3 birthday celebrations.
One with his family, one with his staff and one with his friends and extended family. I, of course, was invited to all 3 because I’m all of the above!
We went to a nice French restaurant for the family dinner. Food was overpriced and not so nice (this is of course my biased opinion because I don’t like French food), but the company was perfect.
I was more amazed by this than the food
All the main courses were from RM 150 to RM 250, I felt guilty to even go to the toilet the next day!
“Oooh Pizza!” Finally something in the menu that my sister and I understood.
Suddenly, this came.
“We didn’t order a cookie,” I innocently told the waiter.
We went for Chinese food with the whole office staff. We shared one of the biggest fish I have ever seen in my life! Courtesy of Dean; his birthday present to my dad.

Cake from Lemon Garden 2 Go
The last dinner was a perfect ending to my dad’s birthday, and a nice way to begin his new year.
Everybody laughed and ate, and at the end of the night (when the Ustaz who read the doa went home hehe) we all karaoke-d, dedicating songs to the birthday boy (old man). I, of course, didn’t sing because I didn’t want to shock the world with my super fantastic voice. (can’t sing for nuts, but no one has to know that….which is stupid to say, because now all of you know)
The happiest girl was indeed me, eating my life away.
What do you give a man who has everything?
And a little home-made birthday card with words from the heart.
Happy Birthday to The Main Man in my life. May Allah bless you always with happiness, good health and long life! He should know you deserve it, for all the good you’ve done to others! 🙂 We love you lots and lots and lots and lots and lotsssssss….this could go on forever.
