When I was in Brussels, I went all the way to the border to Netherlands.

To Roermond Designer Outlet!

Something like Bicester Village in Oxford.

Road trip!!!

The collection is obviously not the latest ones. They sell last season’s collection for such a good price! And you’ll be surprised to find a lot of nice stuff in outlet shopping places. (If you can be bothered to drive because they’re usually out of the city). A little bird told me Malaysia is planning to do a designer outlet too! Not sure when, but it’s in the pipeline. About time, don’t you think?

It was cold and it was raining, not good weather when I went. It was hard to even move my fingers. But still, there were a lot of people! We’d endure rain and storm for a good Gucci bag, wouldn’t we? :s

Managed to get a table at McDonalds and ate some yummy artery-clotting food. Hot fries in the cold… Fries never tasted so good. And I wonder why I put on so much weight everytime winter comes!

All our stuff combined:

Stuff I bought:

A decent Polo shirt: everybody needs shirts!!

A big bag: I LOVEEEE the squishy soft leather and I love how big and practical it is. Great for my travels to dump stuff in.

A baseball cap: In case I ever find myself in a stadium…you never know ok?! Always have to be prepared.

Had a great time walking around and shopping. But you know what? I thought this day would never come, but I actually am all shopped out.

I really really really miss my office 🙁 Was supposed to go back by now, but had to postpone because need to settle some stuff here.

I miss having a purpose! I miss coming into the office in the morning, greeting my awesome colleagues, management meetings, handling projects, stealing food from the pantry and just doing whatever I have to do that day. I keep myself updated from here, monitoring emails, BBM-ing colleagues and stuff. But it’s really not the same!! I know things will carry on regardless whether I’m there or not, but it’s nice to be a part of it and contribute.

It’s so weird…I used to think a life of just breakfast, lunch, shopping, dinner, movie (basically easy life) is the ideal kind of life. But it’s not! At least not for me anyway.

Note to self: No more long holidays for a while!
