fv in herworld
December 30, 2010We are very honored to be included in HerWorld’s January issue as one of the chosen online shopping websites.
Finally, someone who gets us!
“This conscious effort to help promote local talent is a good reason to check out the site.”
Seriously, don’t you find it disappointing when we are so well-versed with international brands like Topshop and Zara, but we don’t even bat an eyelid at our own local brands? Let’s try to elevate our own fashion industry first!
Thank you HerWorld for including FV. And can I just say that this Ziana Zain is one HOT MOMMA!! Get your copy today, ladies!
p.s: I wouldn’t have known about this if it wasn’t for a blog reader’s comment. Thank you Ila for letting me know.
Thumbs up FV! Keep more coming!
bravo2..
keep it up fv..
awesome!
congrats!
The price of the local brand clothes in your website is extremely high. Higher than Topshop and Zara. Rm400 for a top is super expensive if you ask me.
man yee, there is other stuffs that are cheaper too. i bought some tops from fashionvalet and i am very impressed with their service and quality of the clthes. will definitely buy more soon when pay comes!

Hello Vivy;
This will be my first ever comments although i’ve been reading your blog for ages! First and foremost, happy new year and hoping more interesting stuffs coming from your end. It was always feel delighted and mesmerized by the stories and accomplishment shared in this blog which I think would be a definite motivation to others in achieving something as young as your age. Keep up the momentum! And by the way, my hubby and I saw you and Dean at Chawan, Bangsar yesterday! We sat right behind you guys! My husband said you look like a living doll..hehe which I reckon beautiful than those pics can tell! And same goes to Dean, handsome and cute too! Cheers always!
will shop @ FV soon..:D
Great!Glorious way ahead for FV!^_^
hi. id like to say congratulations. and i want to suggest to fv to provide a rating system for each product. for example, asos provides a ‘like’ system for fb users, it will also be updated in their fb newsfeed-if im not mistaken. this will help promote ur website, it will also hopefully give local designers a better idea of what the local market wants/likes.
see the thing is, as much as i like, or most people like, the idea of supporting local products, realistically local designers have a long way to go to reach strong(er) support as much as topshop, zara, etc has.
i would love to support ur website, but only certain products (usually the sold out ones) are nice. a lot of the other products look cheap and not well-designed. to the point where i wonder do these fashion designers even do their market research?! its like theyre designing what they like, not what people want/would look good in. no wonder people splurge on topshop!
so, if these designers would like to be influential powerhouses, theyve gotta start from the bottom and DO THEIR MARKET RESEARCH. i mean, some stuff look like theyre from sg wang.. im serious.
hopefully, if u have a rating system, or even comment boxes, people can discuss what looks fantastic, ok or down right ugly. or theyd even suggest what the designers can do to improve their products.
u have the opportunity to branch a market that most would never have considered going into. malaysian fashion students have more to look forward to.
so please, i beg u, help these designers grow in any way that u can.
thanks!
hi: i think you didn’t go through fashionvalet.net properly. if you had done so, you would’ve noticed that there is the ‘like’ button on each of the products.
i do agree though on local designers having to do their market research. i guess they just aren’t thinking long-term.
