nona tv3

October 19, 2011

Firstly, I’d like to apologise to any of you who have emailed me recently. I just opened my PD inbox after a while, and omg I don’t know where to start. I’m so sorry to those who’ve emailed me, and I will try to reply as soon as I get the chance! Really don’t mean to be rude.  🙁

TV3’s Nona show came over for an interview and shoot at FV and it was fun! My last Malay interview was Wanita Hari Ini (also TV3, thank you TV3!!) and at least that was with other guests. This one was full-on me alone, speaking Malay in front of the camera. Don’t get me wrong, I have no trouble speaking Malay. But when I have to speak in the “Walau bagaimanapun, aya akui banyak rintangan yang telah saya lalui” kind of formal Malay, fooohhh I get nervous.

I think I did pretty ok, hopefully. But I was slapping myself a bit because instead of saying “mereka”, I said “diorang”. Who says “diorang” on air?!!! Ish.

Remind me to never talk nonsense when a production crew is around. I completely forgot that they attach a mic to your boobies to capture your audio. Here I just realised what a do-do I was! The guy heard everything.

We had to produce 10 looks for Nona TV3 to shoot, so Asma’ was on it. We mixed and matched brands and did a blend of casual, dinner, tradition, officewear etc.

With Nanster

Speaking of Nani, it was her birthday recently, so for this whole week in the office, we call her Birthday Girl.

As a prank we told her to wait for someone downstairs to pass something. And so she did. We were preparing her cake and putting it right in front of the door so she’d be surprised when she walks in again. Turned out she waited so long downstairs for the “person” we made up. Poor girl! She came up all pissed off at the “person” and got even more pissed off that there’s a cake on the floor. Haha.

We had to wait so long for her until the candle became one family.

Happy Birthday Nanster!
