shapes in the air
January 24, 2012This morning I woke up from the bed and saw Little Nephew lying down with his eyes opened.
I went to him and kissed him good morning.
“Morning, baby,” I whispered so as to not wake the others up.
“Morning, Mashu,” he replied as he played with my fingers.
“I have to go downstairs now. Do you want to come with me?”
“No thanks, I want to sleep some more.”
“Oh, you don’t want to wake up now?”
“No, I really need my rest, you know.”
I missed him so much that a few minutes later, it was just me and him making shapes in the air with our fingers.
“Ok, Maksu, now make a hexagon.”
Hexagon?!! Whatever happened to the good old circle, triangle, rectangle and square.
I love waking up with him around and getting morning hugs from him. There is no feeling like it in this world.
