that time again

It’s that time of the year again.

When my heart aches.

Spring cleaning for my closet.

As much as I hate to, I HAVE to. I have so much clothes, it’s just not funny anymore.

This time, Nani took charge. She dumped all my clothes and sorted through them one by one. God bless her.

But man….did we fight!

We made a Yes and No pile. She chucks one item to No, I will pick it up and move to Yes when she’s not looking.

I cannot throw any of my clothes because I love them so much. For every item in my wardrobe, I will have a reason for their existence.

For example, socks. I have this one side of a pair of socks that lost its other side.

“Can’t you just throw that ONE sock away…”

“No, because you never know I might find the other side one day. And then, what am I going to do? I’m going to hate myself for throwing the other sock away!”

“…..but it’s been 5 years.”

Nani knows this sick habit of mine when it comes to clothes (I have no problem throwing anything else) so she and my maid joined forces to clear out my closet. I shall not speak to them for a few days.

I sent Asma’ a picture of my room looking like the aftermath of a tornado.

“OMG! What happened?”

“Cleaning out my closet :(“

“Ooooh very good! What’s the occasion?”

“The Mom Won’t Stop Nagging Festival 2012.”
