Why do you think Hollywood stars have such nice fluffy hair? Ok fine their stylists. But it’s also HAIR EXTENSIONS.
I never really thought Malaysians are into them, but lately I’ve been seeing more and more beautiful girls that have the extensions in them. A few months back, I was meeting someone pretty famous and when she turned around I saw some clumps in her hair. My eyes widened and I immediately turned to Asma’. She knew what I was thinking and gave me the finger (2nd finger) to signal for me to shut up and focus. Knows me too well.
But obviously in the car, we discussed this hair extension phenomenon.
I don’t get it really… I like fluffy hair with volume but I just can’t imagine having someone else’s real hair sewed onto mine. Even if it wasn’t haram in Islam, I don’t know if I’d ever want to do it. How do you tie your hair? How do you brush your hair without those clumps of hair falling? I don’t get it! Some people say with hair extensions, you must comb lightly, use mild shampoo, use cold water to shower, use a different heat setting when drying hair…
I don’t think I’d have the patience.
Would you get extensions?
