I was reminiscing my girls trip with Toots and Asma’.
This was taken before my wedding so I had to go through Strict Daddy to get approval for this trip. Boyyyy…. was that a fun board meeting.
So, obviously one would think marriage would be a passport to freedom. More girly trips!
Well, life sure is funny.
Here’s the conversation I had with Dean.
“So, the 3 of us are planning our next girly trip. Yay!!”
“What girly trip?”
“The girly trip that we want to do annually, where we travel and have fun together, just us girls…. You’re ok with that, right?”
“Where are you going?”
“Oh we don’t know yet. But it’s going to be so fun!”
“It’s going to be in KL right?”
“What?! Of course not… maybe Singapore again cos we had so much fun there.”
“Er…. I don’t think so. It’s too dangerous to let 3 girls walk around unattended. Who knows what could happen to you guys? And one of you is pregnant!”
“Exactly! No one wants to even look at a pregnant woman. We’ll be fine!”
“Why don’t you guys book a hotel in KL? That would be fun too. Maybe Saujana Hotel?”
“Why…. because you want to play golf there?”
“Well… it would be a nice coincidence!”
*slightly annoyed face*
“Ok… what do you want to do in Singapore?”
“I don’t know yet. We’ll see….”
“Well, if you don’t even know, why would you want to go?”
And that’s when it hit me…. the hard-hitting reality of my life…
I married my dad, guys.
