I was so happy when I saw on Sazzy’s instagram that she was supporting the Rexona MOVE challenge. As a parent herself, I’m sure she knows what a good campaign Rexona was doing; encouraging people to sweat and be healthy, at the same time turning it into a game challenge to cover the whole of Malaysia to help the less fortunate children in our country. Creative, with a big heart!

I guess the public had the same sentiment as I did because they amazingly completed the challenge to cover Malaysia in LESS THAN one month! That was way earlier than their initial target.

So as promised, Rexona travelled the country to brightened up children’s lives in each state in various ways. Here’s what they did / in the process of doing in each state:

Perlis: Provided educational toys e.g. Monopoly, Scrabble, Lego sets

Kedah: Provided 24 children a 10-week long swimming lessons

Penang: Organised a ½ day aerobic session

Perak: Provided educational books worth RM 3,500

Kelantan: Donated 3 sets of desktop computers and installation services

Terengganu: Replaced broken fence of children’s home

Pahang: Provided 24 children with drawing classes for 2 months

Selangor: Organised motivational talk sessions to children (aged 7-12, and aged 13-18)

Negeri Sembilan: Provided 1-year Astro subscription

Melaka: Organised a 1-day house cleaning and painting activity

Johor: Provided 2 guitars and organized a 1-day crash course on guitar-playing

Sarawak: Organised a 1-day interactive activities with children e.g. crafts and games

Sabah: Provided educational toys worth RM 3,500

May God bless their team for doing all this, especially during the holy month of Ramadhan. We should take in a little inspiration from them and try to do the same too. Even a little bit can go a long way.

Congratulations, Rexona!
