ok
October 13, 2013I’m too excited right now I can barely type.. or speak!! Omg omg omg..
Ok so this morning… omgggg.. ok this morning, Dean and I were just hanging out in bed with Daniel. Every morning we would just watch him sleep.
And as if he just knows some two weirdos are watching him and it’s borderline freaky, he would always slowly open his eyes and just watch us watch him. When he finally realizes it’s the same two weirdos every morning, he gives us the best smile ever that makes my uterus gloat. Every single morning. Never gets old, Masyaallah!!
So anyway, then we’d talk to him. Well, more like talk at him. Like what’s our plan today, what we’re going to have for breakfast, what does he think we should wear today.. you know, real exciting stuff.
And today…
“So later we’re going to take a shower together,” Dean said to Daniel. “OK, Daniel?”
Daniel giggled at Dean and his mouth moved, “OK.”
Dean and I immediately sat up from our lying down positions and just hovered over Daniel.
We were both speechless.
We just stared at him.
I opened my mouth slowly, “Wha… what did you say, Daniel? Did you just say OK?”
Daniel stared at us, probably scared that we had such abrupt movements (literally took one second for us to sit up) and then clasped his hands together. And then giggled.
HE SAID OK!!!! HE SAID HIS FIRST WORD!!! FINE IT’S NOT A REAL WORD BUT IT WILL DO OMGGG OMGG HE’S A GENIUSSSSS!!!
Dean and I had smiles on our faces for the next hour, and we looked so high like we were walking on clouds.
Ugh… seriously melted my heart, guys. OK is now the most beautiful word I’ve ever heard. The perfect two syllables; oh-kay.
Sighh..
Ok la, I’m so excited now I’m going to enroll him into a genius school.
I cannot take this.
I can’t even think straight.
Ugh…omgggg… ughhhh!
He said ok at 3 months old.
I love you, Allah. You are just.. You are just… omggg… please let all parents in the world have this feeling.
No words but Alhamdulillah.
Keep talking to him like an adult. He will grown up like a wise man insya allah. Ive read somewhere child’s brain they can pick up any languages ..just like that.. thats why few studies had shown that human brain deep down inside already got the ” language store ” kind of thing.. the only thing that they need is stimuli..
Anak ni seperti kain putih. Ibu bapa la yang mencorakkan nya.
Daniel ni sure pandai. Cepat pick up nanti . Ameen.

My baby said Allahuakbar when she saw her daddy getting ready for Isyak.
We were so surprised but she was so very cool, tak layan when we were busy cheering for her.

I had that moment too! Few months back when my son was like 5 or 6 months old. Wallahi all of us (me, my sis and my lil bro) heard my son said OK.. and all of us are stunned. The whole day of excitement, and then totally forgot about it until you blog it about your son. Mashallah Kids these days…..
