Nothing like the breeze that comes with loose pants.
Skinnies are great for leg-lengthening me thinks, but let’s be honest… it’s so predictable. Let’s give our legs some room to breathe, shall we? 2014 can be their year. Bahaha.
I like the long culottes that I wore by AzuraAzwa because it’s a bit of a fashion statement with the bold structure and clean pleats on the front. The pants speak for themselves so I didn’t want to add anything too heavy on the top. Just a clean white shirt and I played it up with a printed scarf instead. I would also try this look with a tank top and long cardigan/blazer. Or a peplum top for even a bigger A-line exaggeration that I think will look super cool. Pre-headscarf days, I would probably like to see these pants with a white T-shirt and a sling bag for the effortless look.
Heels are A MUST when wearing loose structured pants (I refuse to wear these if I have to visit someone’s house… Asians and their barefoot-in-homes rule pfttttt). So no flats with culottes! Unless your legs run for a mile, of course. In which case… just go away.
Wearing Annabelle pants from Malaysian sister duo designer AzuraAzwa (they also do stylish kidswear for girls, thank GOD I don’t have a daughter omagawww) and heels from Kiss & Tell, both FashionValet. Scarf from Hermes, shirt from Polo Ralph Lauren, bag from Celine.
