printed maxi dress
April 15, 2014Because I’m mini fun-sized, I used to steer clear of maxi dresses. Especially now that I’m covered up, I find that too much cloth from head to toe and no shape just drowns an already tiny me. But experimenting with a few pieces has opened my eyes that I shouldn’t be scared of maxi dresses. I felt really feminine in this one because of the beautiful print and the shape doesn’t make me look too frumpy I think. Dean liked it too so that gave me the confidence. The piece is a statement on its own so I didn’t think to add much to it. Just my go-to metal belt to cinch the deal.
Wearing a printed dress from Kree, gold metal belt from Free Flow (they’ve added nude and red too!) and scarf from Tudung Sisters, all FashionValet. Bag from Louis Vuitton.
Hi Vivy,
I am fun size too. And I am a huge fan of maxi dress since 2 years ago. There a lot of nice maxi dresses out there and it suits us the hijabi, makes us looks decent.
Trust me, maxi dress won’t make fun size people like us frumpy. It actually makes us look taller. Unlike pants, maxi dress conceals the actual length of our leg hence making us look taller. You can even wear a fluffy maxi dress, but of course pair it with heels.
U look really good in maxi dress here Vivy π
omg lawaaa!! btw ehem huge lunch or another little vivy/dean? π
I like it how you dresa to impress your husband. I mean, it is nice. And it is also important for wives to look pleasant in the eyes of husbands. <3
