Believe it or not, I still don’t have my own car. I depend on Dean since we’re always going everywhere together. It was going well, but increasingly now, Dean and I have separate meetings and sometimes one of us has to leave the house really early. When it was just the two of us, it was easy. But with Daniel now, poor guy sometimes has to be woken up to leave with us as well, or has to delay his breakfast etc.

So Dean decided we needed a second family car. Actually it’s been amazing we made it work this long. Haha. Yayyy! Car shopping!

Dean’s criteria: Model, brand, horsepower, miles, price, engine specs, suspension, interior, performance… yawn.

My one criterion: Pretty or not?

We’ve been going to car showrooms, but what do you guys think of this one?

Mercedes-Benz CLA 200_Exterior (1)

It’s the new Mercedes CLA 200.

Mercedes-Benz CLA 200_Exterior (5)

The CLA is Mercedes’ new segment with world-leading aerodynamics for avant-garde coupe design. As a new four-door coupe it follows the idea of the CLS. This new model features a radar-based warning system (collision prevention assist) as standard, which is able to warn the driver of an obstacle and to initiate precision braking when driver steps on the brake pedal.

And I’m sure you know I got that paragraph from their website.

Let’s focus on the fun stuff.

Mercedes-Benz CLA 200_Interior (18)

Sleek leather interior to feel amazing about yourself and your car.

Mercedes-Benz CLA 200_Interior (14)

Can have GPS screen without holding while you drive.

Mercedes-Benz CLA 200_Exterior (2)

Pretty eyes when you flash people.

Mercedes-Benz CLA 200_Interior (17)

Can have a few more kids.

Mercedes-Benz CLA 200_Interior (16)

Can hold a lot of shopping bags.

And come on, that new technology of Collision Prevention Assist thing is really a plus point in terms of safety. Very important for people with families too. It also has low fuel consumption because of good air flow characteristics and numerous aerodynamic optimization measures. Some serious design stuff going on there to make it value for money for the owner.

Possible option, no?
