One reason why I love to collect our traditional baju kurung is because you can make them into versatile separates too! If you have a modern kurung, you can wear the top as a short dress. Or if you have a shorter top half, you can wear them with pants etc. For me, I wore out the bottom sarong of my last year’s Raya kurung. It has a beautiful geometric print, navy and blue, which I thought would be perfect for a refreshing morning. I am just as surprised as you that I managed to zip in all the way and it stretched enough to accommodate my 8-months bump! I was so conscious that I would rip some of the seams, but phewww all in tact guys, nothing to see here!

It was a beautiful morning and I totally enjoyed this OOTD session with Kim.

But it was tough…

Let me show you the real story below here:

He wouldn’t let me go at all!!! So not understanding of Mommy’s need for an OOTD shot.

All those half shots you see above, I was either carrying Daniel up to my chest with his legs up and all. Or we had to run from Daniel, Kim snapped really quickly while I tried my hardest to pose calmly before Daniel came crying a nanosecond later. Was a tough OOTD session for sure, but definitely one that would put a smile on my face when I remember it. Ah, my clingy child. Just like his mommy.

Wearing peachskin scarf from dUCk, shirt from Tsyahmi (no longer available) and kurung bottom from Syaiful Baharim, all from FashionValet. Bag from Chanel, shoes from Alexander Wang.
