My sister’s bun in the oven was baked already but didn’t want to come out. We went for the CTG scan (soooo early in the morning btw) and boy, were we bored.
When I say bored, I mean bored.
I had to go travel that day for 2 days so I was really worried that my sister might give birth without me around. I spoke to her belly and we made a deal; to come out only after I return from my work trip. The good girl listened to me because as soon as I came back, my sister felt the contractions.
When my sister was in the labour room, my heart was beating so fast. She didn’t take epidural for Aman and Zara, so I wondered if she caved in to epidural (LIKE SHE SHOULD, CRAZY WOMAN) for this one… considering she’s you know… older and weaker bahahaha. I couldn’t reach her so I was pacing up and down at home, waiting for a cue to go to the hospital.
Finally, my bil sent a photo of this gorgeous little baby with a caption Alhamdulillah.
I felt tears coming to my eyes and I quickly rushed to the hospital. Barged into the labour room and did not care who was there or not. Gave my sister a hugeeeeeeee hug and kiss before I carried our latest addition to the family. Oh she is so beautiful!! My little niece, not my sister (my sister looked just wow… so umm, natural… that’s when I figured that she didn’t take epidural). Get this; no epidural… and no stitches!!!! What, why, howw…. my sister’s a champ!!
This room is way too familiar. *crosses legs*
Our new baby girl.
I’ve been trying to flatlay her but she doesn’t cooperate much with the smiles. -___-“
Welcome to our family, Faith Soraya. We love you so much already!!!
May you grow up to be just like your Maksu.
